What is the FCDO Fee?
The FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office) charges a mandatory government fee for each apostille certificate they issue. This fee is £45 per document and is set by the government — it is not our fee and we do not mark it up.
This fee is paid directly as part of your order and covers the official apostille certificate issued by the UK government. It applies to every apostille application regardless of who submits it.
Our service fee covers everything else — document checking, submission handling, correspondence with the FCDO, and tracked return postage.
